A fine of Rs 30,000 has been imposed on Bikaneri Rasgulla Bhandar, Maa Sharda Food Products and Virendra Pandey of Barun Bazar for selling adulterated petha. Similarly, Ram Gopal of Moti Nagar, Purakalander, Satyam Traders of Masoudha, Shankh and Surya Products of Jainpur, Kanpur Dehat and Deepika Enterprises of Naubasta, Kanpur have been fined Rs 40,000 for adulteration of Shankh brand black salt powder. A fine of Rs 30,000 has been imposed on Star Products and Tauseef Ahmad of Khawaspura for selling adulterated biscuits. A fine of Rs 20,000 has been imposed on Dharmendra Singh and Krishna Kumar Singh, residents of Harringtonganj, for adulterating laddus in Bundi.
