A study conducted by the Advanced Research Centre of the GM Taori Central Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (CIIMS) in Nagpur found that the presence of the Covid virus in the city's wastewater has become almost negligible. The study, which examines untreated wastewater samples for Covid and other viruses, suggests that the current surge in viral and infectious diseases in the population is not attributable to Covid but rather to other viruses.
