Nandurbar: On the occasion of Mahashivratri, a resident of Ghotane in Nandurbar taluka was poisoned after eating saffron. As of 9 pm on Friday, 75 people had been poisoned, of which 40 were admitted to a rural hospital in Ranale and five to six to the district hospital. Others were sent home after first aid. The condition of all the patients is stable, the health department said. Teams of the district hospital are camping at Ghotane and Ranale.
