Students from various grades of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Bheemgal complained of stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, after having dinner on Monday. The hostel staff rushed them to Nizamabad government hospital, where they are under treatment. The incident triggered an investigation, with district collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu ordering a probe into the issue. Food items served to the students for dinner, including brinjal, rice, and sambar, have been seized for laboratory testing to identify what went wrong.
