Over the past two days, 26 samples have been collected from various locations. A food safety team visited Jyotiraj Dairy Pvt. Ltd. in Depalpur, where samples of ghee and butter were collected. Simultaneously, a namkeen shop and Jayshree Kirana in Depalpur were inspected, leading to the collection of samples of namkeen and pulses for quality checks. Inspections were extended to other locations, including Jyoti Industries on A.B. Road, where coconut samples were collected. Curd and cow’s milk samples were also taken from different dairies in the city for testing. Swami added that food safety checks are being conducted extensively across Indore, from Depalpur to major marketplaces, to ensure that no adulterated food products reach consumers. Officials have warned that any failure to comply with food safety regulations will result in strict legal action under Section 32 of the Food Safety Act. The collected samples are undergoing detailed analysis at the Bhopal food testing laboratory, and further action will be taken accordingly.
