Upon receiving several complaints, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI ) has recently shared tips on social media to identify the purity of sweet potatoes. Here are a few tips that the authority has shared. Identify by Colour : FSSAI has released an informative video to identify adulteration of sweet potatoes. How to identify adulteration of sweet potatoes? Dip a cotton ball in water or oil. Now, rub this cotton ball on the outer surface of the sweet potato. If the cotton ball remains clean or no colour comes out while rubbing, then the sweet potato is edible
